With M Squared Spirits, Michael steps out from behind the bar to connect to a wider audience with his best and most popular recipes.

M Squared Spirits bottles beautifully balanced, artisanal cocktails that allow everyone to enjoy the delicious end-product of a recipe carefully crafted by a master mixologist. Awaken your senses and your tastebuds wherever and whenever you would choose.

Bartender Emeritus at The Alembic in San Francisco, Michael teaches mixology classes for corporate team-building events, covering everything from gin to mezcal and tiki to avant-garde. Previously, Michael was the Cocktail Maestro at Peter Hoffman's Savoy and Back Forty in New York City, and he has customized programs everywhere from The Toucan & the Lion (New York City) to Zazu (Sebastapol, CA) to Pure Shore (Long Beach City, NY). 

Michael had the unique honor to be the opening (2011) and closing (2017) bartender at Two Sisters Bar & Books. It was here that the spark for M Squared Spirits became a reality with Mikha’s calm and encouraging expertise. Without her, M Squared Spirits wouldn’t exist.

Michael’s work has been featured in Food & Wine, The New York Times, the San Francisco Chronicle and on The Today Show. Now he brings his next venture to retail, wholesale, and hospitality virtual events.

Mikha Diaz

Mikha Diaz was co-owner and operator of The Alembic in San Francisco. Mikha’s love for hospitality and craft whiskey developed into a diploma in Culinary Management from The Institute from Culinary Education (NYC).

She launched Two Sisters Bar & Books (2011-2017). Fall of 2019, Mikha joined the faculty of Culinary Arts and Hospitality at City College of San Francisco.
